Hey! I’m Marla. I’m an author and intuitive tarot reader. This website is the place to grab signed paperback books, bookish merch, and book Tarot readings. You can find out all about my books at marlaholt.com or head to the signed paperbacks section.

My tarot reading style is like going out to coffee with your best girlfriend, the one who listens and gives you advice, but who also doesn’t take any bullshit and will give it to you straight. But after she’s done, she gives you a big hug. My readings tend to be more consultative rather than predictive. I specialize in career, planning, and goal setting readings. Follow me on Instagram for Tarot Thursday and on TikTok for daily card pulls.

If you’re a knitter looking for my free knitting patterns from yesteryear, you can find them above in the knitting patterns, etc. link. But please feel free to check out my newer work while you’re at it.

  1. Hi,

I was referred to you by Robin who is my teacher in a crocheting class at Hobby Lobby.

I am going to be taking a spinning class at the Yarn Barn on April 14th. I am trying to find a group that meets regularly to help me spin and maybe weave down the road. Robin told me to contact you for info.

I am looking for people to encourage me and help me learn spinning .past the one class. Plus I just want to meet people interested in the same things and friendship.

I I can join your group or know of a group in Topeka that would be awesome.

I hope to hear from you soon!!!

  2. Your blog is so wonderful and I really enjoy reading it. I wanted to let you know that I have nominated your blog for a Kreativ Blogger Award because of the great, beautiful, amazing content you create.

  3. Marla,
I am so excited to be working with you at KHF. I just heard in the staff mtg. this morning that you had the Tinydino studio on Etsy, and then I was looking up the Potwin Fiber guild mtg for tonight to figure out what time…I saw Tinydino and had to check it out. So thrilled to have you on board. When I read your info page, I thought WOW, we should get along great. My dream is to have a farm….and I am just learning to spin and taught myself to knit a couple of years ago. See you on Monday. Again….welcome aboard. Sherry

  4. Do you have plans to teach knitting classes in the near future? I am interested in learning to knit and am looking for a class in Topeka

    1. I am not currently scheduled for any knitting classes, though I am working on a sweater class.
