January’s spinning complements are here. And they are spectacular if I do say so myself.
The Boy Who Lived
Not only are the (1) Harry Potter themed, but they are (2) superfine Merino and (3) fun whimsical colors.
Together they make up just about 8 ounces of luxury spinning fiber, great for any mid sized project. You can find them both in the Tiny Dino Studios etsy shop, along with a couple of other Harry Potter inspired tops.
When I launched the idea of Spinning Complements last week, I didn’t expect them to sell on the same day. However, since they did I thought I would make an extra special December edition.
Up in the etsy shop right now.
This month I am featuring a blend of 70% Merino and 30% Tussah silk. It’s gorgeous, fluffy, and oh so soft. Done up in teal, ice blue, and grey I give you both night and day of an outdoor ice skating rink.
3.5 oz individually or 7 oz of spinning fun together.
Just a peak at what at the new stuff I will be offering at next weekend Bazaar. (What doesn’t sell will be up in the Tiny Dino Studios etsy shop sometime after next Saturday.
This has become a big skein of thick n thin yarn which is out drying on the balcony right this very instant. It will be my donation to the silent auction.
I am working on spinning this gorgeous piece of merino right now. I have it in my head that I am going to navajo-ply it, even though I have never navajo-plied anything before ever–not that that’s ever stopped me.
My week is going to be filled with more fiber, a little trick or treating with the kiddo, and tolerating my last few days at the day job. What are you doing this week?
